The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 20 October 2022 – BLURB

Greetings all.  The next time we play will be our last game in October.  Where has this year gone?  Also, the next time we play, there will be a tent set up in the beer garden, helping manage wind and heat and making for an enjoyable game.

Enjoying this game in the first half, house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal got out to a two-point lead over Mulley at the break.  Several teams were within two-points of second place, namely Winners, Nolan's Army and In Third Place. 

The second half of play saw house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal increase their lead over Mulley, and also saw Riot Penguins make up ground on the leaders, moving into a tie for third with (ironically) In Third Place.

While two teams were correct on the final question, standings did not change.  The house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal took home first place, but not first prize.  That money rolls over to next week for an $80 first place.  Congrats to the house team and well played all.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
