The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 22 September 2022 – BLURB

How can we possibly top this last week.  Fantastic weather and one of the larger groups of friends we've had in quite some time.  It was great having all of you there for the game.

With so many teams, you have to be on your A-game.  After a nearly perfect first half, that A-game helped And in Second Place take a two point lead over Sweet and Salty Nuts.  Wino Combo, Ketchup and Threesome were tied for third, seven points off the lead.

In the second half, And in Second Place kept the heat on the other team and increased their lead to five points over Sweet and Salty Nuts.  Ketchup and Threesome remained tied for third, now eleven points out of first.  Not to worry though, everyone still had a chance to win on the final.

The final was a bit easier than usual, with more than half the teams scoring points.  And in Second Place was one of those teams, and they bet the full 20, giving them a comfortable win over the field.  Well played all and congrats to And in Second Place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
