The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 15 September 2022 – BLURB

This week we had a supermegaultrafirstprize up for grabs, and the teams showed up strong hoping to take home the $160.

Leading out of the gate and into the half time break, Dickens Cider found themselves in first, but only one point separated each of the top four teams, Sweet and Salty Nuts in second, Balenciagas for my missus if we win in third and Wino Combo in fourth.

After the second half of play, the points at the top were very close but now with a new leader.  Sweet and Salty Nuts had taken the lead, and house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal stormed back into contention, only one point behind.  Balenciagas were in third, three points off the lead.  Dickens Cider had fallen to fourth, nine points adrift.

The final question saw the fortunes of two teams rise, while many others crashed and burned.  Balenciagas for my missus if we win placed a clever wager and slipped into a one point lead over Sweet and Salty Nuts, but Dickens Cider swung for the fences and connected, sending them ten points clear of second place and taking home the $160 first prize.

Well played all, and congrats to Dickens Cider.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
