The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 04 August 2022 – BLURB

Welp, this last week was quite the weather adventure.  For those of you who braved the high temps, and then stuck around after we had to move inside, I thank you.  Especially though, I'd like to thank those of you who helped me move my gear inside.  That would include Adam, Barbara, George, and if there was someone else who lent a hand that I did not name, my apologies and also my thanks.

Now for the game summary.  House team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal was strong in the first half and held a 3-point lead over newcomers Amish Tik Tok Stars, with Sweet and Salty Nuts, Stoney's and Nolan's Army close behind. 

Standings at the end of the second half were nearly identical to the first half, leaving several teams right in the mix for a chance to win on the final. 

Two teams answered the final question correctly, but neither bet the full 20 points.  In the end, house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal was able to hold of Amish Tik Tok Stars for the win.  Congrats to the house team, and well played all.  Next week our first prize will be $120, be sure to come out with your thinking caps on for a chance to win the rollover jackpot.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
