The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 30 June 2022 – BLURB

Last week we had one of our largest turnouts of the year.  The fantastic weather and the approaching long weekend probably had a lot to do with that, but also helpful is word of mouth and Facebook engagement.  Please keep sharing the pictures I post on Facebook. When your friends see you having a good time, this helps the Wheel House bring in new customers, this helps keep Let's Do Trivia going strong, and it adds an additional prize to our game on a nightly basis.  More chances for you to win!  Also remember that periodically I draw a random winner from those who like and share our Facebook posts.  I'll be doing that soon, stay tuned.

With so many teams this week, the scoring was bound to produce some close results, and the first half did not disappoint.  Only four points separated the top 6 teams, with North Beach Turtles leading the way one point clear of Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Funhundertunfundfunzig.

North Beach Turtles held the lead going into the final, but just about every team had a chance to take the lead based on close scoring.  The final question did not disappoint in giving teams a chance to score, with three different teams scoring the full twenty on the final.  The team that made the most of this was Your Mom, Dear Watson.  We are pleased for them, especially as there is an upcoming retirement for that team, with a few members moving down to Florida.  We wish you the best!

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
