The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 16 June 2022 – BLURB

Another week of Let's Do Trivia in the books, where everything is the same, except when they aren't.

So, what wasn't the same?  Well, despite the threat of bad weather, it was a very pleasant evening with nary a drop of rain making this only the second Thursday in about 8000 years it did not rain for two hours between 6:30 and 8:30.  What else wasn't the same?  Well, this was the first week in about a month where we did not have a roll over prize due to the house team winning.

The end of the first half of play saw Sweet and Salty Nuts atop the leaderboard, with one of the larger leads we've seen in a while.  They were 7-points clear of second place Wild Wicked Women.

At the end of the second half of play, Wild Wicked Women made up lost ground and played themselves into a tie with Sweet and Salty Nuts, setting up an exciting final question.

On the final all but one team answered incorrectly.  Wheel Deal Sex Appeal managed to sort all the various Ices into the correct order, slapped down a 20-point bet, a moved up from third and into sole possession of first.  This sets us up for another rollover pot next week.  Well played all and congrats to the house team, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
