Happy Harbor – Let's Do Trivia - 23 June 2022 – BLURB

Greetings dear friends from Happy Harbor!  I have not seen most of you since pre-pandemic, but it was great to have a chance to say hello to everyone while I was filling in for Carter.

The late start probably cut into the number of players we had this week, but the turnout was still strong and the level of competition was high.  At the end of the first half of play, Breakfast Club and Brookes were tied for the lead, and Dumb Luck were only one point off the pace.  Newcomers The Winners were in fourth, 7 points off the lead, but showing strong for a team of two players.

In the second half, Brookes managed to pick up the pace, opening a lead over Breakfast Club by 4 points, while Dumb Luck and The Winners fell back a bit further from the lead.

Final questions nearly always give at least one team a chance to surge back into the lead, but this evening no one was able to take advantage on the final, leaving standings unchanged. Well played all, and congrats to Brookes for a well earned win.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
