The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 19 May 2022 – BLURB

Finally, a Thursday without rain!  It feels like the first time in months I haven't had to worry about wet electronics.  The weather was gorgeous, and the turnout was fantastic this week.

Smashing out a nearly perfect first half, Sweet and Salty Nuts built up a 6-point lead going into the half over two teams tied for second, Riot Penguins and Something Stupid.

Second half of play saw Sweet and Salty Nuts maintain their 6-point lead, but it was house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal moving up from a tie for 8th in the first half into sole possession of second place heading into the final.

Sweet and Salty Nuts opted to wager zero on the final, but a total of four other teams correctly answered the final, with big bets on the line, final standings were sure to be jumbled up.  When the points were tallied, the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal finished in first, setting us up for a doubled first prize next week of $80.  Congrats to the house team, and well played all.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
